This “Austin inspired”, unique Craftsman style home designed by Chase Dame, Architect, is designed to blend specifically with the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. The vision and stylings are very personal to the owner, Mr. Steven Haynes.
The two story home has approximately 1800 SF of open, inviting, comfortable living space and another 500+ SF of outdoor living area. The grand entry is spacious and open to the second floor allowing a dramatic effect upon entering the home. The entry opens to an inviting Great Room / Kitchen / Breakfast Nook combination. The Island Gourmet Kitchen is roomy and functional and sports a wine bar. There is a ventless fireplace that is the focus on the outer wall of the Great Room. From the Great Room one walks out onto a wood deck through a 4-panel center open sliding doorway. This allows for flow when entertaining.
Other rooms downstairs are 2 bedrooms a full bath that is designed to also serve as a powder room, utility room and a mud room entry off the porte-cochere.
The Master Suite takes up the second floor and includes an open study / computer center as well as a private balcony. From the master balcony is a spiral staircase that leads to a third floor roof top sun deck, which can be accessed as well from the first floor deck off the Great Room.
