A Custom New Construction

This Craftsman style home designed by Chase Dame, Architect, was built for Dr Phil Caterbone in the trendy Bouldin Creek area of Austin with approximately 2400 SF of open, inviting, comfortable living space. The exterior is rock, cedar planking, stucco and a metal roof. The interior space has 10 and 12 foot ceilings downstairs and 10 foot ceilings on the second floor.
The downstairs has a study off of the entry which steps down into the living / dining / kitchen space that is set up for comfort and for entertaining which all flow out onto a spacious covered screened-in back porch. The master suite is also downstairs with its private balcony on the back of the home. True hardwoods cover the entire downstairs and are stained to match the stained wood trim throughout the home. The gas jet fireplace in the great room is flanked by suspended audio cabinets. There is a fireplace on the screened in porch which makes the space a great place to cozy up and watch movies on the outside video screen.
The second floor has two bedrooms, one bath and a flex space for media and reading which opens out onto a large balcony. On the balcony is a spiral staircase that leads up to the third floor roof top terrace. This very private oasis with views of downtown Austin was engineered to support the 8 person hot tub, an outdoor kitchen, a fireplace and plenty of room for outdoor furniture for guests when entertaining or just relaxing and while working on the sun tan.
